Terms of Use

 

1. Should the renter be unable to arrive upon the date booked, then he must inform the owner of this as soon as possible. If no other renter can be found for that period, the renter will be liable for the full rent.  Should the full rental period not be observed, the rent must still be paid for agreed rental time.

Cancellation policy:
If you withdraw from the agreement, we will charge you with the following cancellation fees:

• 60 to 45 days prior to arrival, 50% of the deposit
• 44 to 30 days prior to arrival, full deposit or 50% of the estimated total amount of the rental
• 29 to 0 days prior to arrival, the full invoice amount is payable.


The reference date is the date of receipt of your notification by the booking agent (if this is a Sunday or holiday, the reference date will be the next working day). If the property is not occupied, or occupied late, the full invoice amount remains payable. We recommend that you take out a insurance to cover cancellation costs at the same time as you make your booking. This will cover cancellation costs up to commencement of travel, in the event of you cancelling as a result of illness, accident, death of the renter, other persons travelling or close relatives (against presentation of a doctor’s certificate).

Swiss Liability Laws apply to any earlier annulation of the contract.

2. Any  objections regarding the rental unit must be reported to the proprietor upon moving in, otherwise it is assumed that the locality  and its inventory are in the good condition agreed upon in the contract.

3. The renter agrees to keep the unit rented by him and its inventory free of damage and to return all keys and inventory items at the end of the rental period.  Damaged or unusable items must be replaced in such a way as to result in no disadvantage for the proprietor.

4. Furthermore, the renter agrees not to undertake anything that would be detrimental  to the rental unit or its inventory. Any apparent deficiencies, damage to, or failure of, any items in the rental unit must be reported to the proprietor immediately.  The renter also agrees not to wholly or partially sublet the rental unit, and that the apartment or chalet may only be occupied by the number of people stated in the rental agreement.

5. Any damages caused by the renter to the rental object or its inventory  must be paid for by the renter himself.  It is not permitted to put anything into the toilets or drains that my cause them to be plugged.

6. Articles 253 to 274 of Swiss Liability Law apply to any terms not mentioned in this contract.

7. Swiss Law applies to any disputes arising from this contract, with the venue of jurisdiction being the locality of the rental object.
